Elle Decor: This magazine is one of my #1 home decor go-to’s! I’m satisfied with the content that arrives in the pages every month. Colors, style sheets, what’s hot, what’s next, trend alerts and inspiration for anything that relates to your abode. Themed backyards, kitchens, living areas, dining area, boudoirs and bedrooms. Although, this magazine caters heavily to the affluent, I walk away with 1,000+ decorating tips to add to my comfortable lifestyle. You can follow Elle Decor on Twitter and Instagram for ideas and inspiration.

Mo Meta Blues – The World According to QUESTLOVE by Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson and Ben Greenman: A memoir in which Everyone’s Favorite Questlove tells his own story while tackling some of the lates, the greats, the fakes, the philosophers, the heavyweights, and the true originals of the music world. He digs deep into the album cuts of his life and unearths some pivotal moments in black art, hip hop, and pop culture. I started this book in the summertime, and never finished it due to busy days and nights. I’ve vowed to complete it, because it really is an interesting read!

Be sure to share what pages you’re thumbing through in the comments below. I enjoy adding new narratives to my book list. +MC
